New Season New Start
So after getting fed up with last seasons underachievement i stopped bogging about LUFC as it was pointless. Now we have a new manager in Brian Mcdermott, new owners in GFH, a new home strip and after the last result of the season a new found sens of optimism.
As Warnock did last season, McDermott has already released his retained list for the squad and stated that 6-7 signings are needed to make this a promotion winning squad. How ever he has done this with out the frantic and sometimes rash attitude of Warnock. He has kept his head screwed on in interviews, said sensible things about the youth setup and emerging talent. has yet to use the blame game on the players and said that its not just on field that needs sorting but the club needs re building.

- David Somma (staying at TA for rehab on injury's and to be assed next season)

Glad to see Somma is being given a chance and that Bromby is furthering his career through coaching. Pretty sad to see Payne go as he looked a prospect in pre season last year! hopefully he gets a bit of first team football else ware. Personally I'm looking forwards to who Mcdermott can attract player wise and weather GFH will back him!! i would also like to see Poleon get a better chance next season! shown his pace against Watford in the last game and caused all sorts of problems!
all in all last season was a shambles. Prolonged Takeover, warnock pointing fingers and spouting crap and the players underachieving all amounted to a horror show of a mid table finish. yes its a hard league and yes there are some good sides but we are LUFC...... MOT
